Dev Prasad Gurung (born 8 October 1958) is a veteran communist politician in Nepal, currently serving as General Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre). He was active in the Maoist insurgency, played important roles in peace talks, and later transitioned into parliamentary and ministerial politics. He has served as Minister of Law & Justice and as a member of both the Constituent Assembly and Parliament. Over the years he has become one of the senior leadership figures of his party, helping to shape its strategy in the post-war democratic period.
