Kantika Sejuwal

Kantika Sejuwal (born 1972) is a Nepali politician from Jumla, belonging to Nepali Congress. She was a school principal before entering politics after her husband’s death. In 2017, she became the first woman mayor of Chandannath Municipality and has worked on improving infrastructure, water, roads, governance and women’s inclusion. In 2022, she was elected to the federal parliament via proportional representation under the Khas people category.
