Pradip Kumar Gyawali

Pradeep Kumar Gyawali (born 13 September 1962) is a veteran communist politician from Nepal, affiliated with CPN (UML). He has served in multiple important ministerial roles, most notably as Foreign Minister from 2018 to 2021, and has been elected from Gulmi constituency in several terms. His political career began in the 1970s through student activism and district-level party leadership. In addition to politics, he is known for his literary works and contributions to Nepal’s cultural discourse.
