Rabi Lamichhane

Rabi Lamichhane (born 14 September 1975) is a Nepali politician and former media personality who currently leads the Rastriya Swatantra Party. After a successful career in television and journalism, he founded his party in 2022 and won a parliamentary seat from Chitwan-2. He briefly served as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, but his political rise was marked by legal challenges—most notably over his citizenship status—which he resolved, allowing him to return to political office. Known for his populist style, he remains a prominent figure among voters seeking change.
