Rajendra Mahato

Rajendra Mahato (born 19 November 1958) is a senior political leader from Nepal, particularly known for his advocacy of Madhesi rights. His political career spans several decades during which he has held key offices including Deputy Prime Minister (briefly), MP for multiple constituencies, and various ministerial roles. He has founded and led several Madhesi / Sadbhavana-oriented parties. In 2024, he established the Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal and continues to be a vocal figure in Terai politics, though his influence has had ups and downs due to frequent party changes and controversies.
