Sagar Dhakal

Sagar Dhakal is a young Nepali hydropower engineer and independent political aspirant born in 1990. He rose to prominence in 2022 by running against Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dadeldhura-1, campaigning as a change candidate with a platform focused on accountability, development, and reform. Combining professional experience in energy projects and academic exposure abroad with activism, he represents a newer generation of political figures aiming to move beyond traditional party lines.
