Shekhar Koirala

Shekhar Koirala (born 25 August 1950) is a senior Nepali Congress politician and medical doctor. He has served both in the Parliament and in academic leadership (as Vice Chancellor of BPKIHS), blending public service in healthcare with politics. Part of the influential Koirala family, he is known for his grounded approach, strong base in Morang district, and significant role within the party structure, though he has not (so far) held the top leadership positions.
